Now in our 33rd year. Even if it's your first time, feel the joy of skiing or riding on the very same day. The SIA-Certified Grandeco Snow Academy is a ski & snowboard school with a 32-year history in Urabandai. As a school certified by the SIA, Japan's only professional instructor organization, we guarantee high-quality instruction from specially trained instructors. All classes are strictly limited to 4 students! About 70% of our students are beginners. At JSBA Grandeco, our instructors spend plenty of time providing hands-on support, aiming to let you ride with "zero risk of falling," so you can join with peace of mind. We offer a wide range of lessons from beginner to advanced (carving, ground tricks, powder, and more). Snowboarding is a wonderful sport that can be enjoyed at any age. A word to beginners!

Make your first day your best day. The 90-minute lesson (1 unit) aims to get you comfortable with the gear and to learn the most important snowboarding skills: braking and turning. The 180-minute lesson (2 units) aims to get you linking turns so you can ride down the slope on your own.
Our instructors will do everything they can to support you so you can enjoy your first snowboarding experience with a smile! We also offer great-value lesson & rental packages (BURTON)!

Please join us with confidence. We provide wholehearted support for everyone, from first-timers to experienced skiers.
A word to beginners!
- If you are new to skiing, we recommend the beginner group class (up to 4 students) or a private lesson with an instructor all to yourself. The goal of the first unit (120 minutes) is to ski safely on your own and to stop without falling, and most people achieve it. The goal of two units (240 minutes) is to gain more control: turning left and right where you want to go, and gradually building up speed. For an injury-free slope debut, we recommend taking the 2-unit, 240-minute lesson!
